I learned to read a long time ago when I was very young in age. I can't quit remember the age but I know I was young. But I got in to reading from my mother. She use to read the bible to me and my other brothers and sisters when we where small.
When I first started reading about 10 or 11 years ago like every kid it was pretty difficult. But then after a while after being in school and around everyone reading and the teacher teaching us to read I found out that it wasn't that bad when you get use to it. So when I got to about the third grade thats when I really started reading because we had Accelerated Reading or AR as we call it.
By then I got into the chapter books and were done with the picture books. I started reading books like Captain Underpants, Junie B. Jones, Magic Tree House, and the Series Of Unfortunate Events. Captain underpant was a very good book I would say its one of my favorite series. Junie B Jones was a also great book it was the comedy in those series. And for the magic tree house and the series of unfortunate events, them series i liked because they had so much adventure.
If you don't already know, reading is an important part of your education. Reading can give you knowledge and entertainment. If you don't read you probably can't comprehend some of the most basic Social Studies, Science, Math and Writing skills. The only reason why you can't do these things is because you don't read enough! I know some people don't like to read, but sometimes you have to do things you don't want to do! Some people don't like reading, but I do! Reading has helped me get A's in most of my school subjects.
When I was in 3rd grade I didn't enjoy reading that much. That was before I found out about the Harry Potter books! After that I started to try more and more books until I found the right genre. The genre that I like the most to this day is realistic fiction. Realistic fiction is like where the things that happen in the book can be real, but they are not proven facts. But this is how i learned to read and why I like to read
this is good keep it up
